D.C. Monuments

Day 2 of our trip to Washington D.C.

We spend about 4 hours walking around looking at all the neat buildings.

Harvey enjoyed watching for airplanes overhead, and Cecilia most enjoyed the gentle swaying of the stroller.

We stopped for a snack before taking the train back to our hotel.

During which, we attempted a family picture.

The picture may not have turned out well, but our outing was very fun.

Dino Kiss

We interrupt our regularly scheduled vacation posting to bring you something that actually happened today.

Sometimes, instead of a prince, the dinosaur gets to wake the princess. Also, if you click on the photo you will have a nice desktop sized picture to use. You know, if you want a green dinosaur on your desktop.

DC Splash Pad

One of the days we decided to just walk around DC near our hotel.

I chased him around while captain took pictures and watched Lia.

DC Hotel

About a month ago, our family took a trip to Washington DC. It was a fourteen hour drive and we left at 7 pm. Consequently no one slept well, so when we arrived at the hotel we all just kind of crashed.
I love seeing my babies snuggle.

Lia was squashed between the two of them, but she didn't seem to mind one bit.

Instead of champagne on ice we had apple juice.
Anyway this is how we spent our first day, relaxing and drinking juice. More posts about our trip to DC to come soon.
